This program will enable currently licensed and credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to assess and develop their skills in neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, including, but not limited to the areas of advanced assessment, resuscitation, airway and ventilator management, pharmacology, and specialty gas administration. This program will also assist the practitioner in preparing for the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (NPS) exam.

Upon successful completion of this program the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will have increased practice opportunity in neonatal and pediatric critical care areas and modalities.
Successful completion of a regionally accredited and Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) approved program. Must hold a current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and license.
Successful completion of all program courses with a minimum grade of "C".
