Program Summary
This program is offered as a Fully Online program. This academic program is designed to meet specific state or professional needs. It is not accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education. Students graduating from this program will not have the academic credential for licensure in states where graduation from an ABFSE accredited program is required. Graduates are eligible to take the Florida State Board Exam for Funeral Directing. These courses apply towards the Funeral Services Associate in Science degree.

The Admission Guide will outline the admission criteria specific to the Funeral Arts Certificate program as well as explain the timetable for evaluation and further admission correspondence. Please review this information carefully to ensure you submit a complete application at the appropriate time. Only students who satisfy all the application requirements and submit a complete application in accordance with the information detailed in the Admission Guide will be considered for admission. Prerequisites: • Applicants must have graduated with at least an associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. NOTE: If you have missed two (2) consecutive terms, you must see a counselor to be readmitted into your program.
