This certificate offers basic information on Entrepreneurship. The State of Florida Frameworks and at least three other State Community Colleges offer the expanded 25-credit version with added business and management skills included. Given the current employment environment and post Covid-19 recovery milieu, the needs of small business applications will be more complex and more competitive. A larger 25-certificate will offer students the option for Financial Aid not available with the presently offered 12-credit certificate. Currently unemployed residents may want to add additional skills and credentials that would allow them to change careers and create the possibility of opening a new type of business that the post pandemic environment may support. Additionally, students and prospective students may seek to explore career options in business, entrepreneurship, self-employment and the gig economy strategically and with enhanced skills this certificate will offer.","LAST_GRADUATE_TERM":"Spring 2021 (585)","LIMITED_ACCESS":"No","MEDIAN_DEBT":null,"MEDIAN_LOAN_NOTE":null,"NON_CREDIT":"No","ON_TIME_GRADUATION_FISCAL_YEAR":null,"ON_TIME_GRADUATION_RATE":null,"ON_TIME_GRADUATION_SOURCE":null,"ON_TIME_GRADUATION_STUDENTS":null,"ONTIME_GRADUATION_WEBSITES":null,"OUT_OF_STATE_TUITION":null,"OWN_WEBPAGE":"No","PENDING_SACS_APPROVAL":null,"PEOPLESOFT_PLAN_DESCRIPTION":"Business Development and Entrepreneurship","PEOPLESOFT_SHORT_DESCRIPTION":null,"POST_BACCALAUREATE_CERT":null,"PRINT_PROGRAM_ON_DIPLOMA":"Yes","PRINT_PROGRAM_ON_TRANSCRIPT":"Yes","PROGRAM_APPROVED":null,"PROGRAM_CODE":"BUSENTR-CT","PROGRAM_DESIGN":null,"PROGRAM_NAME":"Business Development and Entrepreneurship","PROGRAM_NEED":null,"PROGRAM_SUMMARY":"<p>The Business Development and Entrepreneurship Certificate (CCC) offers a sequence of courses that provide relevant technical knowledge and business skills needed to prepare for starting and/or managing an entrepreneurial business and/or attaining further education and careers in the Business, Management, and Administration fields.
